What are Bazoocam and Pink Video Chat?
Bazoocam is a long-running French random webcam chat, launched in March 2010. It’s free, browser-based and account-free, with mini-games (Tetris, Tic-Tac-Toe, 4-in-a-Row) and geolocation matching that favours people nearby.
Pink Video Chat is a newer random video chat built for phones as much as desktops. Web chat starts without an account, random matching is free and unlimited, and new visitors get a few free coins to try gender-targeted matching; after that, coins are bought in packs. Its dating-friendly branding puts it closer to Thundr and other modern apps than to old-school roulette — our Pink Video Chat vs Thundr comparison covers that rivalry.
How do Bazoocam and Pink Video Chat work?
- Open the site in a desktop or mobile browser — no account needed on either.
- Allow camera and microphone and confirm you’re 18+.
- Choose how to match — random or nearby on Bazoocam; random for free or gender/country-targeted with coins on Pink.
- Chat or skip — press Next to move on; on Bazoocam you can also start a mini-game.

On Pink, random matching costs nothing, but targeting a specific gender or country spends coins, and coins can run down fast if you rely on them. Bazoocam has no coins, credits or subscriptions. If you never want to pay, Bazoocam is the safer bet for your wallet.
Is Bazoocam or Pink Video Chat safer?
Both offer reporting and anonymity, but neither can guarantee safe encounters. Bazoocam has a human moderation team; Pink provides report, block and mute tools and markets 24/7 moderation, though its enforcement depth is hard to verify. Watch out for look-alike “Pink” apps from different developers. Good habits on both:
- Keep identifying details private and your background neutral.
